Question & Answer
Question: Does PamCakes make Gluten Free, Diary Free or Egg free cakes?
Answer: Yes! I currently have a wonderful gluten free chocolate cake. Still working on the perfect vanilla, so stay tuned.
Question: Are cakes Nut free?
Answer: Cakes may be made nut free. However, as baking occurs in my home, the environment is not nut free.
Question: Do cakes need refrigeration?
Answer: No, all cakes are made to be able to sit on your counter (in a temperature controlled environment). However, if you are picking up your cake the day before the event, it is recommended to keep it in your fridge for ideal freshness. Always bring your cake back to room temperature for best taste.
Question: Do you offer delivery?
Answer: The majority of cakes will be pick-up only. However, delivery may be an option for larger events (extra fee applies).
Question: How do I transport my cake?
Answer: Your cake will be given to you in a sturdy box. Please have flat surface to set the cake while driving. Vans, sport utility and any vehicle that the back seat folds in so the air conditioning can keep the cake cool is best. If you are in a car, the floor is generally better than the seat. Placing a non-stick mat under the cake often helps prevent the cake from moving around during travel. Please understand that once you leave with the cake, it is no longer the responsibility of PamCakes.
Question: Can I place a cake topper or other decoration on the cake?
Answer: Cake toppers and ornaments must be approved by PamCakes up to 1 month before the event. If you have an approved topper, it may be delivered to PamCakes up to 1 week before the event. Ornaments/toppers that are too heavy or not secured properly may cause damage to your cake. If any party outside of Pamcakes adds to the cake, we are not responsible for any damage to the cake or ornament/topper. PamCakes may find appropriate toppers to be approved by the costumer (Additional fee will apply).
Question: Does PamCakes provide any cake stands or other materials?
Answer: No, materials such as cake stands, servers and candles are not provided.
Question: How do I make payments for the cake?
Answer: Pamcakes accepts payments through paypal and venmo. Cash and check are also accepted. A deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking. The final payment is due upon receipt of the cake.
Question: How do I prepare for a cake consult with PamCakes?
